Who we are
Collected Film is a production company, founded by Max Davies and Toby Mallender. We have a conviction that genuine storytelling is not a privilege reserved for cinema. Our background in narrative filmmaking - shaped by a love for unique characters, experimental composition, and original content - now informs our commercial practice that brings our disciplines of cinema to brand storytelling. Our new short film Sunny Oaks has won awards at festivals in Seattle and Chicago, with this momentum carried directly into our work with brands.
Max Davies
Max Davies is a writer/director known for his innovative short films, music videos, and fashion films. His work has gained significant recognition, having been featured in prestigious film festivals that qualify for the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA), the Academy Awards (OSCARS), and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
Toby Mallender
Toby is a producer and co-founder of Collected Film, with a background in narrative filmmaking. His work is focused on the foundations that make genuine storytelling possible - for narrative work and brands equally. He built Collected with the ambition to create a production company that stands for independent stories and visually strong films, drawn from a love of cinema.
